Welcome to leaves and prickles!

I’m Monika, the founder and creator behind this small business based in Poynton, Stockport. In 2023, I left my job as an office manager to follow my passion and dedicate myself fully to leaves and prickles. In the early days, my business became best known for my handmade terrarium candles, a much-loved gift choice among many of my wonderful customers. Since then, it has grown to include terrariums, plants, and thoughtful gifts for plant lovers.

I've always been a nature lover, and wanted a life that keeps me connected to the natural world while allowing me to express my creativity. My goal is to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature, whether through low-maintenance terrariums, beginner-ready terrarium kits, or terrarium candles that bring a botanical touch to any space without the upkeep.

Whether you're new to leaves and prickles, a returning customer, a social media follower, or someone who has supported me along the way, I'm truly grateful. Your support means the world to me.

Gorgeous pumpkin candle and wax melts

Fabulous candle and wax melts which smell amazing - can’t wait to light it. I previously bought an aloe Vera candle as a present so decided to treat myself this time as they are so beautiful! I ordered online this time and the candle was really well packaged and arrived perfectly intact.
